The arts include any subject or discipline that involves creative expression in order to represent ideas or concepts about the real or imagined world. Read more here.

Humanities include any subject or discipline that explores human culture from both the present and the past. Read more here.

Individual cognition means thinking about ourselves as knowers, and reflecting on the ways in which we acquire knowledge about the world on a personal level. Read more here.
